Bonney Rebate – $250, expires 6/1/12
SMUD – Up to $650, expires 12/31/12
PG&E – Up to $300, expires 12/31/12
Manufacturer’s Rebates – Up to $1,225, expires 6/30/12

Rebates and Tax Credits for Home Performance

Bonney Rebate – $500, expires 6/1/12
SMUD – Rebates up to $4,000, expires 12/31/12
PG&E – Rebates up to $4,000, expires 12/31/12
Manufacturer’s Rebates – Up to $1,225, expires 6/30/12

PG&E Rebate – $150 / 1000 sq. ft. attic, 12/31/12

Rebates and Tax Credits for Solar Thermal Water Heating

Bonney Rebate – $250, expires 6/1/12
SMUD Rebate – for the replacement of electric water heaters, $1,500
PG&E Rebate – for the replacement of gas water heaters, maximum $1,400
Federal Tax Credit – 30% of installed cost, no maximum, typically $1,500, expires 12/31/16
Total Possible Credits and Rebates: $3,250+
Typical Customer Total: $2,750

Rebates and Tax Credits for Solar Electric (Photovoltaic)

Bonney Rebate – $1000, expires 6/1/12
SMUD Rebate – $1.90 / watt or $.30 / kwh for five years
Roseville Rebate – $2.00 / watt, expires 12/31/16 and lessens with time
PG&E Rebate – $.35 – $.65 / watt, expires 12/31/16 and lessens with time
Federal Tax Credit – 30% of installed cost, no maximum, typically $6,000, expires 12/31/16
Total Possible Credits and Rebates: $13,000 on a 3kw system
Typical Customer Total: $8,000
