Bonney Plumbing, Heating, Air and Rooter Service Partners with Make-A-Wish Presents Local Child with Disney World Trip through Adopt-A-Wish Program

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 21, 2015) – Local business, Bonney Plumbing, Heating, Air and Rooter Service, who has been serving Sacramento area customers since 1978, partnered with Make-A-Wish’s Adopt-A-Wish program to see that local resident, Anna’s wish came true. In late 2013, Anna, 10, was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a rare pediatric brain cancer. Since then she’s undergone surgery, radiation, an extended hospital stay for meningitis and she recently finished chemotherapy treatment. Anna’s family members, friends, and Sac Republic FC fans were on hand to celebrate the surprise reveal of Anna’s wish at the Sac Republic’s home match on Saturday, June 20, at Bonney Field.
During the surprise halftime presentation, Bonney’s CEO, Laurie Johnson, presented Anna with a medal of bravery for her courage and strength. A video highlighting Anna’s journey played on the jumbotron and ended with the announcement that Anna was receiving her wish – a trip to Disney World for her and her family. The trip starts with a limo ride to the airport and also includes tickets to LegoLand, Sea World and Universal Studios.
